In 2023, I started an initiative called the "Coco Crew" to recognize the amazing work of our most dedicated volunteers. For all their hard work, they were recognized by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Whitby.
The Coco Crew dedicate their time to make the operation of Coco's Cocoa Bar fun and hot chocolate served to perfection! They are a great group of kids and a huge part of Coco's Cocoa for Kids!
They say it takes a village and that is very true!
What makes Coco's Cocoa for Kids so special is the support from local businesses and the community and because of everyone's contribution to the cause, Coco's Cocoa for Kids is able to donate 100% of all donations directly to SickKids Foundation.
This is an incredible accomplishment and it's possible when you have a supportive community.
