​HISTORY: SickKids was Canada's first children's hospital when it opened in 1875. 



ACHIEVEMENTS:

In 2021 & 2022, SickKids was named top children's hospital in the world, beating out Boston Children's Hospital and Great Ormond Street in the UK. As of 2023, SickKids is ranked top research hospital in Canada and 3rd the world

UPCOMING In 2023, SickKids unveiled it's new Patient Support Centre which is home to SickKids Learning Institute and supports more than 1,000 world-class trainees, students and learners annually. The building also includes a state-of-the-art Simulation Centre for hands-on teaching in a bright, modern workspace for clinicians, professionals, management and support staff.
